The Holiday Series 2018-Black Friday Outfit Inspiration & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #98

This is not a sponsored post.

Welcome to the second post in this series six holiday posts coordinated by the lovely Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood. Last week, thirteen bloggers joined together to bring you Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration and this week nine bloggers have joined together with our Black Friday shopping looks.

I won’t be shopping at all on Black Friday since I will be pulling double shifts between Solitary Consignment (10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m) and Torrid (5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.). This is after a 7:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. shift at Charlotte Russe on Thanksgiving night. Followed by 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Charlotte Russe on Saturday morning and another 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. shift at Torrid. By the time Cyber Monday rolls around (my first day off after the grueling week), I will be ready to sit down and shop online in my jammies!

Since the prompt for this post was what we would be wearing on Black Friday, I focused on comfort for a 12 hour work day as well as some serious combat gear to face the lunacy that will ensue throughout the day! And what better combat gear than camo and combat boots! Plus my coffee will definitely need coffee…all day long!

Graphic Tee: Old Navy (Old). Similar here.
Camo Cardigan: Universal Threads from Target.

Boots: Tris Combat Boots from Shoe Dazzle.

And since most of my Black Friday will be spent at the consignment shop, I figured this would be a great opportunity to highlight my little place of employment! I took these photos last week before the front window was switched over for the holidays. But how wonderful is the window art that we had on display for Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October? And look how pretty the holiday window is now! Denise, the shop owner, is super talented when it comes to window displays! I absolutely adore what she has done!

So now I am going to invite you inside my little shop where I spend most of days. It is so quaint and cozy in here. I just love working in this place! It is filled with positive energy and light and really “great zhu-zhu” (as one customer put it)!

If you are local to the Watertown, New York, area, you must stop in this holiday season! We have so many fabulous gift ideas! Lots of brand new ponchos and blanket scarves are always in stock and they make the perfect gifts. We also have tons of jewelry and designer bags as well as my seasonal favorite…faux fur. And there is always coffee or tea ready to warm you up when you walk through the front door. If you can’t make it in Friday, definitely stop by and show your support of local businesses on Small Business Saturday. Hours will be extended from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you are not local, be sure to follow our Facebook page because if you see something you love, we can always ship it to you!

And if you are unsure what to buy for the women on your gift giving list, we always have gift certificates! You can never fail with a gift certificate to her favorite resale boutique!

I am wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving as well as a safe and productive Black Friday shopping experience! In between my crazy hours of work, you might find me taking a load off my feet on a random set of stairs somewhere!

Be sure to go check out what all of my other blogging friends are doing and wearing this Black Friday!

ADA Elegance and Mommyhood “I cannot believe Thanksgiving is this week and then Black Friday, which means the Holiday craze has started. I am one of those ‘lucky’ ones that has to work all day on Black Friday, because the company I work for deals with sales among other things. For the small portion of the day when I do not work, you will find me bundled up in layers like my Abercrombie henley, Abercrombie fleece jacket, ponte skinnies, sneakers, the softest fleece scarf and a fleece beanie. And yes without realizing it, I wore yet another leopard hat. Happy Thanksgiving week, babes!”
BOJANA Bo’s Bodacious Blog Jeans, boots, poncho comfort are my weekend jam.   The poncho kept me cozy and warm, and my hands free while waking through the mall (I despise having to carry my coat around in the mall).  The outfit was pretty tame so  I added a little bling with these new Stella and Dot chandelier earrings.  Love how it all came together and how the daylight cooperated for these pictures. “
SHELBEE Shelbee on the Edge “I will be working all day on Black Friday: at the consignment shop from 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. then heading to the mall to work at Torrid from 5:30 until 10:30 p.m.  So I need to be comfortable while donning my battle gear! I found this graphic tee which says “My coffee needs coffee” to be perfectly appropriate for working 12 hours on Black Friday.  To be battle-ready, I went for a camo cardigan and plaid combat boots.  Wish me luck!
LAURA I Do deClaire I don’t normally head out on Black Friday. It’s too chaotic and my introverted self gets overwhelmed with all the crowds. I like to be home, nice and warm and cozy, recover from Thanksgiving, and do some light online shopping if I have a chance! What could be better than overalls and a soft cardigan for a day at home?”

AMBER Avec Amber I know that many people have a four day weekend and roll right from Thanksgiving feasts to Black Friday shopping! My Black Friday outfit idea has this in mind with pieces that are both comfortable and cozy for the dropping temperatures…and leggings instead of pants, because real pants the day after Thanksgiving is just too aggressive.”
JENNIE A Pocketful of Polka Dots
LINDA A Labour of Life My Vanheusen Dot pants are so very comfortable and perfect for Black Friday Shopping.  For me I will be working (aka Canadian) but comfy at my desk and surfing for awesome deals.”
MONICA Jersey Girl, Texan Heart “Can y’all believe that it is already that time of year?  The madness of Black Friday shopping is upon us!  I usually don’t go out shopping on Black Friday, but whenever I do, I’m always there later in the day in something super comfy, because I’m still stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner the night before.  Here is my winter uniform!  A sweater, some comfy pants, boots, and a hat.”
CHERYL Cheryl Shops Normally I’m down in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving—and California has been having unseasonably warm, dry weather—so this is what I’d wear on Black Friday. It’s kind of half summer and half fall, but these are some of my favorite pieces that I’ve featured this year on Cheryl Shops. The accessories are key for Black Friday bargain hunting: the crossbody purse allows you to go hands-free, and the low-heeled boots are comfy enough to be on your feet for hours. Happy shopping!”

Kellyann of This Blonde’s Shopping Bag shared an adorable sweater in her post, Cute and Cozy with Eva Trends. I almost ordered this sweater for myself except the colors are not the most flattering for me. These are definitely Kellyann’s colors, though! She looks fabulous.
