Taking a Blogging Break in Lake Placid & Link Up On the Edge #92

I have been running on nearly empty for quite some time now, pondering and battling with myself whether or not I should take a little blogging break. I love blogging. Sharing my thoughts, my philosophical wonderings, my fashion choices, and everything in between brings me so much joy every day. Reading your comments and your blog posts sends me inspiration when I need it most. I really do love every second of my job. But alas, I am exhausted and it finally hit me hard yesterday…just in time for an already planned girls’ weekend getaway. I had hoped to have scheduled posts ready to go before I left for the weekend, but I just didn’t have enough steam to get it done. So here I am, conceding that I am completely spent and need to take a break. Aimee and I are heading to Lake Placid for the weekend while the husbands stay home and have an all boys’ weekend. While I will be breaking from the blog, we will probably take lots of photos for use on the blog…so stay tuned. I will return to my regular posting schedule sometime early next week. Thank you all so much for the support and encouragement you give me every day. Without you, I would not love this blogging gig as much as I do! Have a fabulous weekend and remember to link up below!

The featured favorites from last week…

My dear friend, Kim of Kandidly Kim, shared her Instagram post featuring the outfit she wore to the One Night of Queen concert. I am loving these colors on Kim and those shoes are simply magnificent!

Laurie of Vanity and Me shared her post, How Not To Look Like The Queen Mother On your Son/Daughters Wedding Day! Not only does Laurie look smashing in this gorgeous floral dress, but she has one hell of a sense of humor, too! So hop on over and read the details about Laurie’s beautiful styling and have a chuckle at her humorous quips injected throughout the post.

Emily of Life Sew Savory shared her post, Tank Dress Sewing Tutorial. I adore this color green and this tank dress is the perfect Spring and Summer staple. Now if I were only half as talented to craft such adorable things on my own!
