I have my last tee shirt from Bellelily to share just in time for some Halloween fun! Except the shirt has sold out now! Boo. But Bellelily has a huge inventory of some of the cutest statement tees I have seen in a long while. Once October arrives, I get excited to spend the next 4 weeks doing creative and silly Halloween inspired things with my kids. We had a lot of fun making our front porch a scary entrance way for visitors, but we are still putting the final touches on it. Hopefully, I will have photos to share by Thursday, finished or not.

For now, however, can we talk about the cuteness factor of this Sanderson Sisters Hocus Pocus baseball tee? Full disclosure…I never saw Hocus Pocus until last Halloween. The movie has certainly built a bit of a Halloween cult following since its release in 1993. Understandably so because it is such a cute Halloween film for the whole family to enjoy!

I have no idea how I missed all the Hocus Pocus hype. I think probably because I never really embraced Halloween traditions until my kids started showing interest and excitement over it. And now I think I prefer Halloween to most other holidays. It’s easy and fun and the expectations are low so I always feel like I am exceeding by doing even the tiniest festive thing! Plus I am a bit of a candy addict. I am that mom who eats about 80% of the children’s Halloween stash! And in case you are wondering…yes, I absolutely lie to my children when they question where all their candy has gone. I eat the candy without shame. And then I lie about with even less shame.

With this tee being the final of my 7 Bellelily tees left to style, I felt like I was running out of ideas. I had styled my new statement tees with denim shorts, a maxi skirt, printed trousers, ripped jeans, a velvet mini skirt, and plaid pants. I was unsure which direction to go. And as the magic often happens inside of my closet room, my gray skinny jeans jumped out of a pile and volunteered for the task at hand. I really love when my clothing cooperates with me that way.

I felt like the zipper details on my skinny jeans created the perfect vibe for a sassy, modern day witchy kind of outfit especially when I added my knee high lace up high heeled boots into the mix. A black suede motorcycle jacket was the perfect weight for early fall weather and kept the whole look tied together nicely. I added my spider web necklace for all the obvious reasons and I was feeling pretty witchy in a 2020 sort of way.

I have worn this outfit twice already this month. The second time was just this past weekend for a small gathering of friends at our house for food, friendship, and laughter. I didn’t wear the boots at home all day though. I wore cozy socks and Archie’s Crocs all day instead. It was all sorts of stylish, let me tell you. And even more so when I threw my ratty kitchen apron on top as I scrambled around like the gracious crazy hostess that I am.

All in all, it’s a really good shirt for Halloween time and I imagine I will bring it out every year to wear.
