If there is one style blogger in all of blogland who never ever disappoints me with her fashion choices and always leaves me swooning over her outfits and her amazing shoe collection, it is Ashley of Le Stylo Rouge. Ashley is a fashion blogger based out of Kansas City and she has been creating edgy wearable fashion for nearly a decade in her blog space. She has a way of taking current trends, adding her own little twist, and coming out looking like a street style star who has effortlessly created sartorial magic. Every single time.

She is sassy and sweet, cool and smart, and she will wear whatever she damn well pleases with pride and confidence. And I love every aspect of what she does. For example, the outfit that inspired this post was a basic combination of a cream sweater and boyfriend jeans. Sounds kind of boring when I put it that way, but it is far from boring. Ashley is far from boring. As evidenced by her ability to take two basic closet staples (a cream sweater and boyfriend jeans) and leaving us with an outfit that is to be appreciated, envied, and copied. And that is just what I did. I copied it. Without shame. I am a copycat.

I substituted a leopard scarf for the leopard earrings that Ashely chose with her outfit. And since it was really cold and windy the day we took these photos, I absolutely needed a jacket. I went with my camouflage bomber jacket because it seemed like just the sort of jacket that Ashely would pair with leopard stilettos. This dichotomy of sleek heels and slouchy ripped jeans is always a favorite of mine and Ashely wears it so well. I also love the combination of leopard and camouflage. There is something unexpected yet perfectly cohesive about these two prints together.
