Keeping Cozy with EvaTrends & Link Up On the Edge #84

Do you remember my wish list post a few weeks ago when I introduced a new brand collaboration with EvaTrends? I shared a bunch of adorable pieces that are on my wish list and today I am featuring the first one of three items that they sent to me for review.

*This is a sponsored post. This kaftan dress was provided to me for purposes of this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

*Dress: Moonlight Dance Tassel Kaftan Dress in Coffee c/o EvaTrends. Available in 2 colors.

I know Spring is just around the corner and she keeps stopping by for brief visits every few days or so, but I have to be honest, it is still really cold here. So please bear with me while I continue sharing warm knits and winter like outfits with you. Add to the colder temperatures my daily perimenopausal cold flashes that make me shiver from the inside out and I will probably be wearing cozy sweaters well into June!

*Blanket Scarf: Shelbee’s Shoppe. Similar here, here, and here.

This heavy knit kaftan dress definitely locks in some warmth. It is super soft and substantial and feels like I am wrapped up in my favorite snuggly blanket. I am not usually drawn to shades of brown, but this rich coffee color really gave me all pleasant feels of cuddling up in front of a dim fire.

*Boots: Lucky Brand Basel Booties.

Because it is still winter, I was not hesitant about piling on the layers. I combined two plaids in my tunic and blanket scarf and added my most comfortable boyfriend jeans. And since I have been really wanting to combine some leopard with my plaid, this was the perfect opportunity to get my leopard print booties on the blog.

*Necklace: Target.  Similar here, here, and here

I wore this outfit for a weekend of traveling in the car. For five hours each way last weekend on consecutive days, this was the most perfect traveling ensemble ever. I’m not going to lie to you…I wore the same outfit two days in a row. It was that comfortable. The only thing I changed was my shirt underneath, wearing a sold black long sleeve tee the first day, and fresh socks and underwear, of course! I didn’t need a coat because the kaftan provided just the right coverage for short runs to and from the car.

*Plaid Tunic: Old Navy.  Similar here, here, and here.

I am looking forward to weather that is a little warmer so I can style this cutie over short sleeves and tights. I love this piece so much that I am kind of thinking I might need it in black as well.

*Jeans: White House Black Market.  Similar here.

Stay tuned for my other two pieces from EvaTrends coming soon. EvaTrends is offering my readers 15% OFF your entire order. Just use discount code SH15 at checkout.
