You Can Get Anything You Want at Gram’s Diner & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #40

In a post from last week, I mentioned that I attended a meeting with a group of amazing women and two fabulous men. Today, I want to share with you a story about one of those men.

So I walked into the room and I introduced myself. This guy bounced up out of his seat, vigorously shook my hand, and beamed, “I know who you are! I follow your blog!” Well, if he wanted to make a girl feel special, success has been achieved! I was floored. I was flattered. I was honored. And I was ever so grateful. It’s nearly two weeks later and I am still smiling about that first introduction.

His name is Kyle. And the word fabulous does not do him justice. With a smile that lights up a room and an energy that makes everyone around him feel like they can conquer their toughest obstacles, he shares stories of his life journey with an unparalleled sense of humor and a gigantic sense of purpose. Simply put, Kyle is a man who can motivate you to achieve great things…simply by being in his presence.

Meet Kyle! The owner of Gram’s Diner in Adams, New York.

He and his partner Chad are the owners of the cutest little eatery in Adams, New York, called Gram’s Diner. As quickly as I obtained this information, I thought, “Ooh. Here is my next #SpreadTheKindness post.” I was already planning a girls’ brunch date on Friday and we hadn’t decided where we wanted to go. And at Kyle’s mention of Apple Cider Mimosas that he just added to his breakfast menu, I was sold and so were the girls.

So Friday morning, we dropped the kids off at school and headed straight down to Adams to enjoy some good ole homecooking at Gram’s Diner. Three of us ordered the Apple Cider Mimosas which are made with cider (obviously) and Fireball Whiskey with caramel and cinnamon coating the rims of the glasses. I was in flavor palette heaven looking like a fool as I licked and chewed at the caramel on my glass! Amy ordered her staple Bloody Mary and I didn’t hear any complaints from her as her glass was soon empty!

I ordered Eggs Benedict with home fries and as you can see from the before and after photos, I sort of devoured it like a beast! I would have shoved that last bit of home fries into my fat face if my stomach could have handled it, but I was just too stuffed!

Amy had the Garbage Omelet and apparently it was so delicious that she took her leftovers home. Something about leftover eggs sort of grosses me out so when someone takes home their eggs, I know they must have been that amazing!

Kari and Lisa each had customized omelets and you can see by the size of these monstrosities that it was all money well spent!

So let me say this about our dining experience. Our server, Monica, was down to earth and ever so friendly with the sense of humor one would expect in Kyle’s employees. I have a feeling if you aren’t fun, he’s not hiring you! The beverage concoctions were creative and oh so appealing and the culinary creations were some of the best that I have seen, smelled, and tasted in a diner. The decor of the restaurant is filled with Kyle’s big personality and evident sense of humor making you feel like you are just one of the family.

There’s Monica with her friendly smile and cool personality!

So if you are ever in the North Country and are looking for the most relaxed and lovely dining experience in a warm and welcoming environment offering scrumptious eats and delectable drinks, Gram’s Diner is the place to go. And if you do make your way there, tell Kyle that Shelbee sent you!
