Happy Birth Month! What Does Your Birth Month Say About You?
Every May for the past five years, I have been joining Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood for her birthday celebration. And every May when I sit down to write the birthday post, I get stuck. I never know which angle to take because we have so many birthdays to celebrate in May. So this year, I am going to have a little fun with what our birth months say about our personalities. Of course, this is all just for entertainment, but sometimes these silly birth month predictions ring true. And even if they don’t, it is still rather entertaining, in my opinion.
Born in May
I am going to start with May birthdays, of course, since it is May and May is the month that 3/4 of my family celebrates their birthdays. Some character traits that have been attributed to May babies include creative, self-expressive, stubborn, motivated, inflexible, loves attention, attracts others, understanding, imaginative, sharp debating skills, fond of literature and the arts, restless, prefers the outdoors, social, respectful, respects authority, strong willed, hard working, and hard hearted. People born in May love to socialize and be in the company of others, but they also need time to recharge after being social. Although May babies are very social, they still enjoy alone time and have an exaggerated need for solitude.
Born in June
People born in June have a tendency to be romantic and sensual but can also be very jealous. They are kind, caring, passionate, and creative but sometimes cannot resist the urge to gossip. June babies tend to be popular and attractive and their presence adds a bit of liveliness to any gathering. On the flip side, people born in June can sometimes be moody and easily hurt or disappointed when they don’t get their way. Other traits of June babies include far sighted, polite, gentle, sensitive, funny, indecisive, and easily bored.
Born in July
People who were born in July are fun loving but sometimes difficult to understand. They are generally quiet until they get excited and they take great pride in themselves and their accomplishments. July babies are honest, open-minded, friendly, approachable, emotional, hard working, and they crave solitude.
Born in August
If you were born in August, you might have a tendency toward community service with firm leadership qualities. August babies also love to joke, they are charming and brave with an extraordinary spirit that is always proud of itself. They are also observant and systematic with a quick ability to think on their feet which helps in leadership roles. People born in August are also generous givers and romantic lovers but can be easily angered with a tendency toward jealousy. Careful, cautious, caring, and friendly are other traits of August babies. They are dreamers and doers all rolled into one.
Born in September
September leads to spirituality and people born in this month are magnetic, calm, cool, and clever. They are talented communicators but enjoy pointing out the flaws of others. But they do not appreciate being on the receiving end of criticism. Generally organized in thoughts and actions, September babies are often geniuses in their fields. Quiet, confident, sympathetic, loyal, and generous are more traits of people born in September. They tend to be sports lovers with minimal sharing of emotions. They are intelligent, quick witted, and clever individuals with great memories.
Born in October
Those born in October are very unique individuals. Their inner beauty and outward charm make them attractive and appealing to others. They are known for their intelligence and are good thinkers making it easy for them to navigate all of life’s trials and tribulations easily because they believe in moderation more than extremes. October born folks love to talk and offer solutions. They are also emotional, romantic, and passionate as well as peace loving and optimistic. They are good at motivating others but also love to daydream. October babies can be short tempered and easily angered but kindness usually prevails and quarrels are easily brought to a conclusion. People born in October also tend to love the outdoors, travel, the arts, and literature.
Born in November
People born in November are determined, compassionate, and positive forward thinkers as well as unique and unconventional with dynamic personalities. They are inquisitive and alert, hardworking and reliable, honest and charming. They are generous and kind with little control over their emotions except for anger. November babies have excellent anger management skills. They also tend to keep their close friend circles small and their acquaintances plenty. November borns can sometimes feel overwhelmed by their own sensitivity which can lead to issues with stress. But remaining positive and motivated helps November people to mitigate feelings of anxiety.
Born in December
People who were born in December are loyal and charitable but also impatient and impulsive. They tend to be patriotic, ambitious, influential, and fun to be around. Many December borns are extroverted and enjoy being the life of the party. They love to socialize and they enjoy being the subject of admiration. However, December babies are not pretentious. Instead, they are honest and dependable with a keen sense of humor.
Born in January
Everyone enjoys the company of charismatic and optimistic January babies. January borns are known for their creativity, ingenuity, and ability to make things happen and get things done. They are born leaders because they tend to be motivated and ambitious as well as independent and analytical. Although introverted, people born in January are ambitious and serious and can be very critical of others. They love to learn and teach and they are methodical and organized. Generally more of the quiet type, January borns are also sensitive and feel envy easily.
Born in February
February babies tend to be stubborn and daring, ambitious and serious, hardworking and productive. They are organized and intelligent, sensitive and lovable, and always know how to bring happiness into the lives of others. People born in February are reserved and highly attentive with soft and caring hearts. Their soft and caring hearts, however, can be hurt easily because February babies are also very sensitive. But they will rarely allow their emotions to be seen. February borns are also creative abstract thinkers, honest, loyal, and determined to reach goals. They are daring and enjoy making new friends. February borns also love their freedom and space and can become rebellious when restricted.
Born in March
March babies like to dream. They are affectionate, naturally honest, generous, and sympathetic. March babies thrive on peace and serenity as well as travel and new experiences. Sensitive to the needs of others, March borns enjoy serving others and meeting their needs. They are sincere and reliable, observant and aesthetically gifted. They are not easily angered and they are highly appreciative of gratitude. On the negative side, March borns are prone to vices and addictions. When they fall in love, they fall in love deeply but will still have an unfaithful streak. People born in March can also be impulsive, quick tempered, easily angered, and like to hold grudges.
Born in April
April babies are born leaders with their charismatic and creative approach to life. They are highly intelligent, extremely ambitious, impulsive, bossy, and stubborn which helps them to always get what they want. They tend to be subjects of admiration because of these qualities which draws people to them as followers. The caring and generous nature of April borns makes them some of the best friends and lovers. They are brave and fearless in approaching life’s obstacles as well as self motivators and excellent problem solvers. April borns are strong minded and attractive, diplomatic and friendly, loving and generous but easily envious.

Besides all the fun facts, I learnt that sock boots do not necessarily shorten the leg when worn like this. I have my eye on a few of these boots myself, so this is good to know! Have a great birthday month!

Darlene, thank you so much, my friend! I try not to get too concerned about the number on the scale and honestly, the number doesn’t bother me so much. But I do feel much healthier at this weight than I did 20 pounds ago. And I am having much more fun with my wardrobe at this weight as well. These little monthly personality summaries are fun, aren’t they? I found some of them to ring quite true while others were definitely a bit off!

Aw, thanks, Michelle! I have to be honest about these boots…they kind of suck! I think they are about 1/4 inch higher than my maximum heel comfort zone. I cannot walk in them and the cone shaped heel seems to make me more wobbly. But I hold onto them because every once in a while I am willing to tolerate their bullshit for the sake of a cool outfit!
I am glad everyone is enjoying this silly little post! I have found that the May stuff is about 50% accurate for me. I imagine that is probably the case for most people! These things are designed that way, aren’t they? But still fun! Have a fabulous weekend!

Thank you, Sheila! I need to photograph my real looks more often! They can be really funny sometimes. My furry leopard slippers are my favorite things ever and I swear my neighbors might think they are the only footwear I own! Crazy socks have always been a thing for me, too. And since I am always cold, once I am done photographing an outfit, my coziest over the knee socks get put on my feet immediately! The birth month personality analyses (or whatever you call these things) are so fun, aren’t they? Sometimes they are spot on, other times not so much. But always fun for a good chuckle!
