I love long earrings personally. It looks great with casual and simple look as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience!

    Lots of love!

I know you do and I linked your blog post on Sharon’s site here as well! I love huge earrings, too, but I also need lighter ones. I have a few really cool pairs that are just too heavy to wear. They don’t even make sense that the manufacturer/designer didn’t realize how incredibly uncomfortable heavy earrings can be. Have a great day, my friend!

I am completely classic with earrings in fact I would say extremely BORING as I practically live and die in pearl studs albeit large ones that catch the eye! Yes I have others and occasionally will put them on only to take them off soonest. I think because I am just under 5′ 2″ I always feel overpowered, almost as though I’m playing dressing up, with fussy details. But I so admire the aplomb and confidence implied when big earrings are worn.

Pamela, thank you so much for sharing your earring preferences! That was one really cool thing that Sharon mentions on her website…how our earring choices are so personal and such a representation of who we are. And you are a big pearl stud earring kind of woman and that works perfectly for you! I do love any kind of pearl jewelry…small, big, or in between! I used to only wear tiny little stud earrings that I rarely ever changed but as I have gotten older I much prefer statement making earrings. And I just appreciate everyone’s expressions of their own personal styles! I hope you have a lovely day, my friend.

he he he he he I’m chuckling over your non-fashion favourite this week!! That’s cheeky!!! So funny!!
Your top 12 earrings on Sharon’s site are absolutely gorgeous. I like to wear big earrings on occasion, but with my wavy hair lately, you can’t usually see them lol!
    Have a fabulous day, Shelbee!

Ha, thanks so much, Suzy! Mitch is really quite funny with his cheeky memes! I wear big earrings frequently but I do have to pay attention to the colors because darker ones get lost in my hair, too. I have a favorite pair of really big gold earrings that have black tassels on the end but I can only wear them if my hair is up, otherwise, the black tassels just become one with my hair. The struggle is real!

I find myself reaching more and more for my leather earrings – they are big enough to be seen and so comfortable to wear. I often forget I have them on!
    Thanks for the link up!

I am a big fan of statement earrings and generally wear them every occasion I can! But there is something to be said for classic minimalism as well and you do that perfectly, Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by, my friend. Have a fabulous day!

Oh my gosh, Michele, I totally hear you! Trying to get the ear loops properly up, around, and over the earrings can be a real struggle! If I am going somewhere that I will have to wear mask, I definitely choose my earrings accordingly. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sharron always has so many gorgeous statement earrings on her site! And, she does a wonderful job pairing them to blogger outfits. Loved reading your feature and seeing how she paired her earrings to your looks. Thanks for including me in your highlight!

Jill, thanks so much! I have been really enjoying the way Sharon pairs the earrings with blogger outfits, too. I need to get over there and read and comment on all of her blogger posts! So fun! I hope you are having an amazing week!

As my hair has gotten longer I hav turned towards larger earring and do love some of these statment pieces. However I do have to be careful as they have to be super light since my earlobes have a tendency to tear.

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

I used to only wear tiny little stud earrings when I was younger but the larger statement styles have really appealed to me as I have gotten older. That sounds so awful that your lobes tend to tear! Eeek. I cringed a little! I would be very cautious, too, as far as the weight of larger earrings goes. I really like the leather ones right now because they are big and lightweight! Thanks for stopping by, Joanne. I hope your week is off to a great start.

These really are such great unique picks! The “Kingston” is my favorite pair from these!
Unfortunately my ears are giving me trouble every time I wear anything but gold. Even silver earrings I can only wear for a little while before they give me trouble. So I usually just stick to my small diamond studs which I’ve had forever.
    Thanks for hosting the linkup!

Thanks, Ellie! Sharon really does have some wonderful earring options available! I am slightly allergic to nickel so I understand that awful irritation that can result from certain metals in earrings. I have a few pairs of earrings that I tend to avoid because they irritate my lobes. I should probably get rid of them! But I’m silly like that and sometimes try to wear them anyway. But I do find that I wear my Anjolee diamond hoops the most because they are pretty and sparkly and do not ever bother my earlobes. I hope you are having a great week!

Oh Shelbee thank you so much for featuring me!! I’m so pleased you loved my look with the crochet piece! And- I will most definitely go check out this earring site and read up on how she got startd. I’m mad about big earrings- you’re so lucky you got to showcase this. Have a great week my friend xx

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Thanks so much, Lucy! Definitely check out Sharon’s site. I am certain you will find many earrings that appeal to you! They are all bold and beautiful and unique…like you, my friend! I hope you are having a wonderful week!

Haha! Loved the meme! Love big earrings, too. Especially the tassel style–they were “big” a couple years ago and I stilll like and wear them! I feel like I’m missing something when I forget to add earrings, too. What a fun collaboration! Thanks for sharing.

    xx Darlene

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Thanks so much, Darlene! I still love the tassel earrings that became huge a few years back and still wear all of mine as well. Like all things in fashion, trends and come and go and stick around and I love that we live in an era where there really are no style rules. So we can wear whatever earrings we like as well as anything else we damn well please!

I actually love statement earrings. I never wear them with statement necklaces so its one or the other, but I do like the long ones. There are some great options here, thanks for sharing!

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Thanks for checking them out, Nora! I am with you on not combining statement earrings with statement necklaces. I feel like they compete with each other too much so I usually opt for just one or the other as well. I hope you are having a great week!

Thanks, Laura! I definitely hear you on the earrings get caught in masks! I always have to get my mask completely secured before I even exit my car because I need the mirror to help me not get my earrings all tangled in it! The struggle is real!

Shelbee! I love the new look of your blog! As for the earrings, I’m all about some big, statement earrings. Especially now that I live in hot Florida. Goodbye hot, statement necklaces and hello earrings. Love your top picks my friend. We need to chat soon!

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Thanks so much, Chrissy! It was a long overdue change that needed to be made! I am with you on the earrings versus hot, heavy statement necklaces! So much more comfortable. We do need to chat soon! Let me know when it’s good for you!

  • Jacqui Berry

I have a few big earrings, but tend to stick with plain gold, silver or pearls studs – bit boring aren’t I. Will have to invest in some more I think, these are all so pretty. Jacqui x

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Oh I don’t think I would call your earring preferences boring, Jacqui. It is just what works for you. I tend to stick with my silver diamond hoops about 80% of the time. But I do love a fun statement earring as well. I try to pick them up when I see them on clearance or in second hand shops. And I have managed to grow quite a large collection of big earrings by doing that. Now if I could ever get around to organizing them all in a more efficient way!

  • Carrie @ Curly Crafty Mom

I’ve really gotten lazy over the pandemic. I DO shower everyday still, but I put my hair up in a messy wet bun and I rarely wear makeup… I do put in some little simple stud earrings usually. Lol. I really need to try to get made up on more days of the week… right now I just get all dressed up with my hair done and makeup on my outfit photo days! Isn’t that sad?! Lol! I love these earrings, the Marina is so colorful!

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Aw, Carrie, I don’t think it is sad, I think it is normal! I went through that phase somewhere in the middle of the winter. But I do almost always put makeup on only because it helps me to feel awake and alert and alive. Now that it is getting a little bit warmer, I am more inclined to get dressed because I only need 2 or 3 layers right now as opposed to the 7 layers of clothing I wore all winter. It’s difficult to make that many layers work together so I tend to just give up! It’s awesome that the Marina earrings caught your attention. I absolutely thought of you for some reason when I picked those to feature. They really remind me of something you would style in the most fabulous way.

  • Sheila (of Ephemera)

Sharon is very smart, going through all of us – we are her target customer base! I adore bigass earrings, although I also have to watch weight. My earlobes are already big, I don’t want them to stretch or tear! These are some really fun earrings she’s picked for you, Michelle!

Thanks so much for the linky-party!

    • shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com

Sheila, I was thinking the same thing…Sharon really honed into her audience and is making her name known! She has great fashion sense and she’s a smarty! Haha. I also have to watch the weight of earrings because if they are too heavy, I get wicked headaches from them. And also any bit of nickel in them will make my lobes all itchy! But I do love a fabulous bigass pair of statement earrings!

The earrings are funky and fun! I’ve never had my ears pierced, so I just admire big earrings from afar 😆. You HAVE convinced me to go bold, though, and I bought a black tunic with pink cabbage roses all over it. I wore it boldly to work on Tuesday.
