Wednesday Wish List with DressLily: All About Plaid

I have always had a soft spot for plaid. Any plaid really. Any color palette, any pattern, any season. But there is something about plaid and autumn that seem to go together like macaroni and cheese. While I do love a pretty pastel plaid print, darker and more subtle hues and richer tones really appeal to me for a cozy cool weather vibe. Here are some of my favorite plaid pieces from DressLily.

  10. You call it plaid, we call it tartan, but whatever it is I adore it too! I’m still holding off from getting my A/W wardrobe together but you can bet there will be plenty plaid on show when I do. Those crazy plaid boots really ring my bell Shelbee.

    • Anna, I am glad to know I am not the only plaid/tartan fanatic out there! If these boots were available in my size, they would be on the way to me now. But alas, not such luck for my size 10/11 feet. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

  11. Loving this post on plaid Shelbee! I’m not a big pattern person–for myself–I do love it on others though. However, plaid is one of the patterns I like to wear, and I feel like it looks okay on me.

    • Thank you, Julie! I almost consider a plaid as a neutral at this point anyway. Especially if you can find a cute black and white or monochromatic plaid. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
