Torrid Date Night Outfit & Link Up On the Edge #51

Last month, I wrote a post about our trip to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and gave you a sneak peak of my date night outfit from Torrid Salmon Run Mall. Today, I am going to share some more photos and details on that outfit…mostly because I have been so busy the past two weeks that I have not photographed one single outfit. Well, except for the 8 outfits that I styled this past Sunday for my photo shoot with the super talented Sarissa Melissa Photography. I am so excited to share the final outcome of that photo shoot!

But those photos will have to wait until another day. This outfit from Torrid I wore for a special date night with my husband. These photographs were taken in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, home of Yuengling, America’s Oldest Brewery. We did not tour the brewery on this trip as we were visiting with a dear old friend before heading out for dinner and drinks.

*This is not a sponsored post. All items were purchased by me and all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

The fabulous girls at Torrid Salmon Run Mall helped me choose these amazing pieces. Manager Dawn paired together the fun tie dye fringed kimono over the black dress. The skinny jeans were a last minute addition by me as I was getting dressed for the date night and realized the temperatures were a bit too cool for bare legs.

Have you tried the dress over jeans trend yet? I have been wearing dresses over jeans for years. I remember a date night outfit I created back around 2001 which was very similar to this one…a black chiffon dress over jeans with a pink blazer. Except that time, it was an outfit that I wore for a blind date (EGADS…I’m glad those days are behind me)!   I got stood up on that particular date!  Ah well, water under the bridge. I don’t even remember the guy’s name. Although that’s not surprising since I didn’t ever actually meet him.

That was just a super weird recollection triggered by an outfit!

That is really all I have for today. And a million things yet to do. And a list about four pages long of topics that I plan to discuss on my blog. But I will get to them eventually. For now, I will have to be content with a simple outfit post and a link up!

And here are your favorite posts from last week’s link up.

The Quirky Homemaker of Heartfelt Balance Handmade Life shared her wardrobe challenge, Project 333 Days 8 – 14 #Minimalism #challenge #project333. My favorite of all her outfits in this post is this adorable pattern mixed ensemble.

But do hop on over to see the other outfits she has styled from her capsule wardrobe.

And Kathrine of Kathrine Eldridge Wardrobe Stylist shared her super patriotic July 4th Outfit. How perfect is this dress for the summer months? Kathrine looks amazing as usual!

Thank you all for stopping by! Enjoy the link up party.
