The Softer Side of Fall with Rosegal

If you are a regular reader here and follow along to see my clothing choices, then you know that I generally opt for darker colors in my wardrobe decisions. With my black hair and fair skin, I find that dark hues or jewel tones tend to work best and I am always drawn to black, olive, burgundy, and navy or cobalt blue, deep red, and forest or kelly green.

In general, the fashion industry tends to produce pieces for fall and winter in these darker tones that I love. So when the cooler weather arrives and the fall and winter lines hit the racks, I am in a general state of swoon over the available color palettes, so rich and warm for that autumnal feeling that I adore so much.

*Boots: A few years old from Target. Similar here, here, and here.

*Jeans: A few years old from Gap Factory. Similar here, here, and here.

However, sometimes I do appreciate the softer side of things in gray, pink, and ivory tones. So breaking away for a moment from my expected darker color scheme, I am showing you how you can still create a warm and cozy outfit in pastels with my venture to the softer side of fall.

*Hat and gloves: So old I don’t even know their origin.

*Earrings: I cannot remember their origin either. Similar here, here, and here.

I feel like I am wrapped in a toasty blanket in this Gray Asymmetric Tunic which can be worn as a cowl neck, a hoodie, or off the shoulder. It is super soft and warm when layered with a basic long sleeve tee, some skinny jeans, over the knee boots, and snuggly winter accessories.

*Coat: Last year from Old Navy. Similar here and here.

This tunic is available in five other colors: black, dark gray, red, deep blue, and light blue. All of the colors are this pretty heathered texture. I love it so much that I may need to get it in another color or five.

If you are looking to add some fabulous new pieces to your fall and winter wardrobe or maybe you just need to have this tunic that I am raving about, check out Rosegal for a great selection of adorable on trend pieces at super affordable prices.  They just started their Black Friday Preview/Thanksgiving Sale today which runs until November 23!  (FYI…I do not receive any commissions if you purchase.)
