Learning to Spot Energy Thieves
A dear friend warned me not too long ago about energy thieves. She explained to me that I have the type of positive energy that draws people toward me. I suppose it is true…I am upbeat and happy and almost always beaming with the joys of life. I have met other people who are like this and it is definitely contagious. It makes you want to be around them. They make you feel good simply by being in the presence of their good energy. When I meet people like this, it absolutely boosts my mood. 20 Things That Make Me Happy & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #68
In light of my more serious and somewhat depressing content from yesterday’s post, I decided to turn my face to the sunshine (wherever it is currently hiding) and share with you all some of the things in my life that make me happy. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.”…

Happiness is the Journey with Happiness Boutique
Have you ever heard someone say that they are trying to be happy? I never quite understand this when people I meet express that they are exerting a concerted effort to be happy. Does it really take all that much effort? Or is it simply a choice? Can’t you just wake up in the morning and decide that today you will choose happiness? *This is a sponsored post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I understand that we have bad days. Everyone does. And sometimes a perfectly good day can be completely derailed by a series of unfortunate events. A perfectly good day can even be perfectly ruined by…
