The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Jeans
Welcome to The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book! This is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book. A series that I co-host with Nancy where you can choose whether you want to share a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye (which is an item you are going to say good-bye to, previously known as a Bad Buy). Every month you can choose which item you want to submit. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide the theme for each month. Photos should be submitted to us by the 10th of the month with a few sentences explaining why it is a Good Buy or Good-Bye. This month’s theme is Jeans. So let’s get right…

Cold Weather Coziness with Ethyl Clothing
It is that time of year when the weather in Northern New York just turns kind of crummy. (Or in the shower…I often do my best philosophical thinking in the shower). It is a topic that repeats itself over and over again in movies, in television, in songs, in religion, in law, in psychology. At times, it seems as if we are almost obsessed with the idea, but more so, we are obsessed with trying to make sense of it. *This is a sponsored post. I received this scarf c/o DressLily. As always , all thoughts…

Double Denim and Pearls
I have been wanting to try the double denim trend, but I wasn’t sure if I would be comfortable with it. The only way to find out if I could pull it off was to just pull it off and wear it with confidence. By the end of the day, I did feel pretty awesome in my double denim. I paired dark wash skinny jeans with a lighter wash denim top. I am thinking that this is the best way to style double denim. I think darker on top and lighter on bottom would look weird. For me, at least. But please feel free to prove me wrong! I added…
