Friday Favorites #7 & Link Up On the Edge #208
I am not certain why I started calling these random Friday posts Friday Favorites when I rarely share actual favorite things. I usually focus these posts on things I have watched or read. Sometimes I include things that we have eaten or recent purchases as well. But since I haven’t eaten much that is out of the ordinary and I haven’t purchased very many things either, I guess I will stick with the Friday Favorites theme and share whatever the heck I feel like sharing. So let’s get to it. Reading I finally finished A Brief History of Everything by Ken Wilber that I mentioned in my last Friday Favorites post.…

Festival Style & Your Own Twist Link Up #23
It is that time again when I join Monica of Jersey Girl, Texan Heart for our monthly collaboration, Your Own Twist. Our goal is to inspire you to think outside the box when it comes to personal style. Each month we choose either one common wardrobe piece or a creative theme and style it our own way with our own twist. We invite you to do the same! Celebrate Earth Day in Boho Style & Your Own Twist Link Up #19
Wednesday, April 22, 2020, marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in the United States. The first Earth Day celebration happened on April 22, 1970, as a unified response of 20 million Americans to an environment in crisis. As environmentally conscious citizens were witnessing extensive destruction to our earth through smog, oil spills, and rivers that were so polluted that they were literally catching on fire, they united in protest to environmental ignorance and demanded a new way of living and respecting our planet. This very first Earth Day celebration is credited with igniting the modern environmental movement that is in full force these 50 years later. Earth Day is…

Embracing My Inner Bohemian with Rosegal
I do love an easy, whimsical, bohemian outfit every now and again. It makes me feel like I am one with nature, like I’m getting in touch with the universe on a deeper, more meaningful level. It gives me a sense of freedom that is often lost in the mundane of our daily tasks. Wouldn’t it be nice to just throw caution to the wind and live a life like that…all of the time? Perhaps. *This is a sponsored post. As always, all thoughts and opinions and entirely my own. But I do also enjoy structure and I appreciate working hard for what I want. I understand that while a…
