Stripes and Floral with a Zaful Necklace & Link Up On The Edge #31

Today’s post is going to be mostly pictures and fewer words as I have a million things (well, maybe 12 things) to get done today in preparation for heading to NYC this weekend! I am meeting up with a dear old friend for coffee and breakfast. Then I am meeting up with a dear new friend for a little blogger chit chat! And I am super excited!

*This necklace was provided to me for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If there is anybody in the NYC area this Saturday, I will be free around noon if you want to catch up! Just let me know.

(Would someone please remind me to fix that shed?! That hanging piece of wood is driving me crazy!)

Today’s outfit was inspired by another COTD Style Challenge of Crazy Stripes and Purple! My stripes are not all that crazy, but I did pair them with a floral skirt to keep in interesting.

I also have been wanting to style this cute Zaful necklace and have been having the most difficult time with it. I kept trying to wear it as a choker and it never seemed to look quite right. I think I finally got it!

And keeping with the purple theme, I added this very warm shawl collar coat. By the way, it was about 12 degrees outside while I was taking these photos. So cold that it hurt my teeth! (As a result of the cold, my pictures were quite harried and very, very blurry.)

Here are your favorite posts from last week’s link up!

Andrea of Living on Cloud Nine shared the most amazing Lavender Leather jacket. Look how beautifully she paired it with this asymmetrical sheer top, gray jeans, and silver pumps!  So pretty, Andrea!

And Laura of I Do deClaire looks amazing in this Burgundy Sweater & Houndstooth Skirt. A woman after my own heart as I am a huge of both this color and houndstooth! Just gorgeous, Laura!

Keeping it on the edge,

Shelbee
