Chambray Shirt Dress and #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #8

Today, I want to highlight this fabulous light chambray shirt dress that just came into Shelbee’s Shoppe. I love the A-line shape of it, making it perfect for wearing as a jacket over another dress, which is my favorite way to wear any shirt dress. There are two reasons for this. 1. I am a huge fan of layering. It creates more interesting dimensions in an outfit, provides extra warmth, and hides all sorts of imperfections. 2. As a girl with a big boobs, shirt dresses rarely button without gaping, so the best solution I have found to these #bigboobproblems is to just wear all button downs (shirts and dresses alike) opened.

I layered this dress over a black sleeveless mock turtleneck skater dress, added some cute patterned tights, tall boots, and silver necklaces, then topped it all off with my favorite plaid wool-blend wrap. Super comfortable. Very warm. And so easy to put together!

That’s all I have for today! I feel like a crazy person lately, trying to get everything done while the husband is gone. Blogging, Shelbee’s Shoppe work, carting the kids here, there, and everywhere. Plus, they always want to eat, it seems! Darn hungry kids. Cooking, cleaning, bath time, bed time, laundry. Blah. Blah. Blah. Six more weeks until the husband returns. In the meantime, will somebody please bring me some #CryBabySoup! (That might be an idea for a future blog post…Cry Baby Soup.)

Keeping it on the edge,

Shelbee
