My Happy Mother’s Day Paisley Pants

I am definitely feeling happy and inspired today on my 6th Mother’s Day. My kids are healthy and happy. My marriage is strong. We want for nothing. My technological issues are resolved. And I recently purchased the happiest pants ever. What is better than bright coral and a paisley pattern? Seriously, you can’t not smile at my pants. Well, at least I can’t.

About a month ago, one of my oldest and dearest friends, J., and I went on a day long outlet shopping excursion at The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. We shopped until 9:00 p.m. and literally shut the place down. One of my favorite acquisitions from that day is these coral paisley cropped pants from New York & Company. They have been hanging in my closet since then waiting for the right occasion to come out and play. What better day for the happiest pants ever than Mother’s Day?! So here they are…and they are super soft and really comfortable. I already had the coral cardigan from last Spring and the lace-up flats I just purchased with my DSW Rewards and ended up paying only $5 after my rewards were applied!

Check out my new Alex and Ani bracelet that my 5 year old handpicked for Mother’s Day! I absolutely love it. The Penguin is Loving, Spirited, and Proud. I guess he knows his mama well! And my 3 year old (with Daddy’s help) chose the Alex and Ani Living Water Charm bracelet for me. I have been wanting an Alex and Ani bracelet for a while now and I got two today! This makes me a very happy mom, indeed.

I hope all of you moms out there are having a fantastic Mother’s Day as well. And I’m sure you all look fabulous in your special Mother’s Day outfits! Did you go for bright and cheerful or soft and subdued? I would love to hear from you.

Happy Mother’s Day!
