The September Issue: How to Style a Little White Dress for Fall & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #37

For those of you who may not be quite ready to pack away your summer wardrobe as the cooler Fall temperatures start sweeping over you, this post is for you! Today I am joining forces with eight fabulous bloggers to show you nine different ways to style that little white summer dress for Fall! This is all the result of the creative mind of Ada of Elegance and Mommyhood, so I want to thank her for inviting me to join!  She is always so much fun to join in collaboration.  Ada is such a great example of how kindness is spread throughout blogland! So have a scroll through to see how I have styled my little white (actually ivory) linen dress for Fall, then stop by and check out how these other eight marvelous ladies have styled their little white dresses. When you are finished, head straight for your closet and grab your favorite summer piece and let your creative styling begin.

The one thing I want to point out about my outfit is that every thing I am wearing has been in my closet for at least a year. Nothing new here, so no links to provide. But it shows that you can shop your closet and still be completely current with your clothes.

And since the weather is just getting mildly cooler, you can still wear your linen items (wrinkles and all) into the Fall by adding light layers and boots.

For me the layers are important for two reasons. Where I live, we start the days now around 40 degrees and by afternoon we are hitting the mid to upper 70’s. That is a drastic temperature change over the course of a few hours. And perimenopause, my friends. It wreaks havoc on a woman’s ability to properly regulate body temperature. I’m hot, then I’m cold. I’m sweating, then I shiver. It’s a vicious cycle and it’s quite miserable. Layers help a little bit. (I know some of you can relate to this!)

So if you are looking for some wonderful ways to keep wearing your little white dress, visit these other ladies and see how they’ve done it!
