Last Outfit of Summer & Link Up On the Edge #15

Today marks the Autumn Equinox or the first official day of Fall! And I couldn’t be more excited since I love all things Fall…the temperatures, the colors, football, pumpkin everything, hot apple cider, homemade soup and chili, the fireplace, and of course, the fashion. So as I say goodbye to summer (very gleefully, I might add), I thought I would share with you one last outfit of summer…which I wore yesterday…on the last official day of Summer.

How beautiful is my friend/photographer Amy’s yard for photos? And she tells me it is totally breathtaking when the leaves really change color. So I am super excited to feature lots of my Fall outfits in her yard…if she doesn’t get sick of me!

I am thinking I can pair this cute black eyelet dress with tights and boots when the weather cools down…which, according to the weather forecast, should be tomorrow! You have no idea how excited cooler weather can make a perimenopausal, over-heated, sweaty, middle-aged woman! Until the hormones give me a chill. And that definitely happens. But then I just live in my beloved scarves until June! Literally. I sometimes sleep with a scarf around my neck if I get too chilled. And that’s totally fine by me. Because you all know how much I love my scarves.

Thank you to every one who stops by every week and joins my link up. I really appreciate your continued support! This past week got a little crazy for me and I did not have the opportunity to comment on every post that was linked up. I am working way through each and every post, however, because I love to see what you all are wearing, sharing, and discussing. If I don’t get the chance to comment, I have been trying to pin and/or tweet all of your posts as well!

This week, I have three favorite links to share!

Yvonne of Funky Forty shared all the fun details of her 2 Heavenly Days in Bregenzerwald-Austria spent with Annette of Lady of Style. Don’t thet both look so fabulous?!

Terri of Meadow Tree looks so chic in her Blue Cabbie! I really am inspired by this outfit!

And Shannon of Gamine and Stripes looks amazing in her Gingham and Slim Jeans! Gingham is my jam and I adore red, white, and blue together!
