Kitten Shoes…Meow

Some days I just want to wear my kitten shoes. And some days my kitten shoes are the most practical choice. It just depends. On this day, the cats were the only shoes that really looked right with my new clearance ($6 at Kohl’s) burgundy boot cut corduroy pants. These pants are so super soft with a fine corduroy ribbing and the color is right on trend this season.

I paired my wine colored pants with a simple black cotton tunic, a pale heather gray infinity scarf, some argyle socks, and a handy dark wash denim jacket. Very simple, very basic, but with kitten shoes! You cannot argue the creativity of an outfit if it consists of shoes with cat faces. Purrfectly comfortable and movable and practical for a day of running errands and running after two small boys. I <3 my kitten shoes. Meow. IMG_7840 IMG_7831 IMG_7863

I also have kitten mittens, but I will save those for another day!

Tunic: JW Style Clothing from Fort Drum Exchange. Not available. Similar here, here, and here.

Pants: Similar to SONOMA life + style Slim Straight Leg Corduroy Pants in Dust Berry at Kohl’s.

Jacket: Very Old. The tag says LA Blues. I am not familiar with this brand and I don’t remember where I got this jacket. But it is a very dark wash and has a bit of stretch to it. When I Google search “LA Blues denim jacket”, I get a bunch of results from Poshmark, ebay, and ThredUP. Similar here and here.

Scarf: Calvin Klein from TJ Maxx. Old. Similar here and here.

Socks: Very Old. Similar here and here.

Shoes: T.U.K. Shoes. Very Old. But they are still available in white with black here and in black suede with white flowers here. And if you love cat shoes, T.U.K. Shoes has a huge variety of kitten-themed shoes from Mary Janes to sneakers to Creepers to high heels for all of your cat shoe occasions!

Do you have shoes that never fail to make you smile? What makes them so great? Their uniqueness? Their level of comfort? Their color? I would love to hear from you!

Keeping it on the edge,
