Inspired by Fashion Should Be Fun: Girl Power & #SpreadTheKindness Link Up #51

If you are a fashion blogger or even the tiniest bit obsessed with fashion, I am sure you know Dawn Lucy of Fashion Should Be Fun. I have been following Dawn Lucy for a few years and I have to say that she has not shared an outfit yet that hasn’t sent me into a complete swoon of adoration. Last month when she shared her post Lily Silk – High Quality Silk, Black Friday Deals, it was her studded booties that made me gasp with delight and sigh, “Oh, I need a pair of studded booties.”

Seriously, how fabulous are her booties? The studs just scream girl power. Since I have been feeling very empowered of late by my fierce female friends, I needed a little bit of rock star power that some fabulous studded booties would surely provide! So I headed off to my favorite place for boots, Shoe Dazzle, and I found these amazing Scheana Booties.

In the interest of channeling my girl power, what better pairing with studded booties than a Wonder Woman inspired faux leather jacket. When I spotted this jacket at DressLily, I knew immediately that I had to wear it with these booties. Fortunately, they both arrived in the mail only days apart so I was able to put it all together and share with you before the holidays! Because who doesn’t need to tap into their inner Wonder Woman during this crazy time of year?

Because my favorite Torrid jeggings always make me feel fabulous, they were the obvious choice for this outfit. A simple black vee neck sweater and some gold jewelry completed my look.

Do you ever feel like your clothes can give you super hero powers? My outfits certainly can effect my mood and my self-confidence, oftentimes making me feel as if I can take on the world. So when I am feeling like I need some extra strength to get through a rough day, some super powers for example, you can bet I will be reaching for my studded booties and Wonder Woman jacket!

Thank you, Dawn Lucy, for inspiring me to seek out these amazing booties! I never would have looked twice if you hadn’t styled them so perfectly!
