Feminine Floral Leggings

This past weekend I had a shopping, movie, and lunch date planned with my great friend, E. It was windy and cool out and I wanted to be comfortable for sitting in a movie theater, stuffing my face with delicious food, and exercising (I mean shopping). I decided leggings were the best option, so I pulled out these super soft floral leggings that I got in the spring. (They are another pair of Lauren Conrad leggings that I have been raving about because the waistband stays in place with no hiking required throughout a long day of activity!) I think they transition well to the Fall and Winter because of the gray background. I paired them with a long pink sleeveless tunic layered over a longer gray tunic tank. Then I added this cozy oversized gray turtleneck sweater. Some cable knit boot socks and suede knee high boots both in gray tones completed the look. After I was dressed, I remembered an adorable floral necklace that I had just spotted on clearance at Target that would complement this outfit perfectly, so Target was my first stop in our shopping adventure and I got the necklace I am wearing in this post! I was so incredibly comfortable all day and felt so feminine in my flowery leggings.

After Target, we headed to the movies for an afternoon matinee showing of Burnt with Bradley Cooper (swoon). (Watch the trailer here.) It was a little darker than I had anticipated and the end was a bit predictable, but I enjoyed it and well, you know, it was Bradley Cooper. So that was enough for me. Then we headed over to Skewed Brew for a late lunch/early dinner. I had the lobster mac and cheese which was phenomenal! After a bit more shopping, I headed home exhausted and broke! ‘Tis the season, I suppose, but my Christmas shopping in nearly completed.

I know I’m not the only woman who swoons over Bradley Cooper? Are you one of them? And what is your favorite shopping/movie/lunch outfit?

Keeping it on the edge,
