Easy Like Saturday Morning

Yesterday morning, I decided I was not leaving my house and would get caught up on some blogging work. So I wanted to be comfortable but still feel like I was dressed. I recently found these adorable olive green shorts on clearance at Old Navy for around $10. And I have worn them 3 times in the past week for just lounging around. They literally feel like pajama shorts with an elastic, drawstring waist and loose fit through the thighs. I decided to pair them with a plain black tee and my black Madden Girl footbed sandals that I got last summer. It got a little chilly later in the day so I just threw this cream waterfall cardigan on top.

I wasn’t sure if I should even write a post about this simple, easy, casual, lazy weekend outfit, but then my husband told me how much he liked it. And if the husband thinks its cute, then I guess it has something! Plus, we can’t all dress to the nines every single day and sometimes a little casual inspiration is needed. So there you have it. Easy breezy lazy Saturday outfit. I sat at the computer most of the day and went for a nice long walk with the kids just before dinner. I didn’t even feel the need to change into jammies until bedtime (I usually put my jammies on around 6:00)!

I hope you all had a relaxing and productive weekend! Here’s to a fabulous upcoming week!

What is your favorite easy, comfortable, stay at home outfit? I’d love to hear from you! Thanks for reading.

Taking it easy on the edge,
