Countdowns of Spring & Link Up On the Edge #36

We are just coming out from under a mountain of snow here in the North Country. I saw on the news that many areas ended up with much less snow accumulation than predicted from this Blizzard of 2017. However, the opposite happened to us. It was predicted that we would have 7-13 inches of snow in our area. Ha! We got in excess of 2 feet! I suppose the upside is that we are accustomed to such huge amounts of snow accumulation anyway. But all the snow had finally melted and there was actual grass to be seen just a few days ago.

As a result of said blizzard, I literally have not gotten dressed or left my house in days. And in anticipation of Spring (it is coming, right?), I thought I would share a Spring outfit with you today.

I took these photos a few weeks ago on a milder day to showcase my Sitting Shoes for our first installment of The Bad Buy Book. If you don’t know what I am talking about, The Bad Buy Book is a fun little series hosted by Nancy of Nancy’s Fashion Style and myself where we give you the opportunity to showcase some of your bad purchases.

This outfit I am wearing is featured in our first installment of The Bad Buy Book. I really wanted to share this adorable Ivory Floral Dress with you.  It is available in Shelbee’s Shoppe, by the way.  And it is the perfect dress for Spring, in my opinion. Plus it has pockets! You all know how I love a dress with pockets!

We also have a bunch of countdowns going on in my house right now.

4 days until the official first day of Spring. Although it won’t actually feel like Spring around here probably until May!

5 days until my little one turns 4. He is so excited because his friend in preschool is already 4 and he wants to be “big like Jonah.”

12 days until my husband finally returns home. We are all super excited for this one!  He has been away from us since January 10.

29 days until we begin the process of moving into our new home. We are downsizing a bit and moving just across town. I am excited because the location is much more convenient for all the school drop offs and pick ups! My husband is excited to have less yard to maintain and less rent to pay!

Who is else in buried in snow out there? Did the Blizzard live up to all its hype in your area?

Now onto your favorites from last week followed by the new link up…
